One thing that I have come to realized is that we are all work in progresses. We might all be working towards different goals but the thing we have in common, is we all have things we want to work on/or for.
I’m a little late posting this as the new year technically started January 1st but I thought it would be appropriate to write about things that I am working on, things I want to change or improve on and of course, things that I want to make a priority in 2018.
Goals:
- Buy my camera/Lightroom subscription for my birthday
- Write daily in my journal/Bumpdates
- Get into some form of exercise – stretching, spinning and/or yoga
Resolutions:
- Don’t let stress consume me
- Meditate
- Yoga
- Get more into cooking again
- Meal lunch prep and creative dinners
- Be optimistic – for every negative thought, think of something to counteract it
- Be grateful
Priorities:
- My health – both mental and physical
- Faith/perspective
- Sleep
- Reading
- Cleaning
- Baby M
Habits required to enforce the above items:
- Meditate daily
- Read 20 minutes a day
- Monitor my water intake
- Create a bedime for work days and weekend days
- Time Management
- Workout/Yoga 5x a week
- Set up 30 minutes to write daily
- Set up 30 minutes to clean daily
- Maintain my planner
- Less distractions in terms of social media
- Declutter distractions
- Put tools into place to make these things happen
- Establish routines that work
I’m sure along the way some more things might get added but I wanted to keep it relatively simple and maintainable. Here’s to 2018!
